We are seeking a Technical Writing Intern to join our team at FloLabs Innovations Group , where you'll play a vital role in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our advanced humanoid robot and AI-driven systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside engineers, developers, and product managers, transforming complex technical concepts into accessible documentation for both technical and non-technical users.

As a Technical Writing Intern, you will develop technical manuals, user guides, and project reports, ensuring that documentation remains accurate, up-to-date, and easy to navigate. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gathering insights to produce comprehensive materials that support robot operation, software functionality, and system troubleshooting.

Additionally, you will engage in continuous research and evaluation of emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This proactive approach ensures our team remains at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our workflows. This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about technical writing, emerging technologies, and user-centric content development.

Key responsibilities

Develop technical manuals, user guides, and documentation for robotic systems, software platforms, and AI-driven solutions.
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product managers to gather detailed technical information.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for diverse audiences.
Update and maintain documentation as projects evolve, ensuring accuracy and version control.
Create FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and instructional content to support end-users and internal teams.
Assist in editing and proofreading technical reports, ensuring clarity, grammar accuracy, and style consistency.
Explore AI-powered writing tools to enhance documentation workflows and content quality.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workshops, contributing innovative ideas and problem-solving approaches.

Qualifications and skills

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for various audiences.
Ability to quickly understand and document software, robotics, and AI technologies.
Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Confluence, Google Docs, or Notion) is a plus.
Problem-solving abilities, ensuring clarity and completeness in technical content.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with engineers, developers, and product teams.
Interest in AI, robotics, and emerging technologies.
