We are seeking a Sensor Integration Intern to join our team at FloLabs Innovations Group , where you will play a vital role in integrating and calibrating advanced sensors into our humanoid robot. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge sensor technologies, ensuring optimal environmental perception, interaction, and real-time responsiveness.
Most recently, we’ve launched a new project focused on the development of our own humanoid robot - a major milestone in our mission to push the boundaries of intelligent systems and human-robot interaction. Interns who join our program may have the opportunity to contribute directly to this groundbreaking initiative.
As a Sensor Integration Intern, you will work with a variety of sensors, including LIDAR, cameras, IMUs, and tactile sensors, developing integration and calibration techniques to enhance the robot's performance. You will collaborate closely with hardware, software, and robotics teams to ensure seamless communication between sensor systems and control algorithms.
Additionally, you will engage in continuous research and evaluation of emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This proactive approach ensures our team remains at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our workflows. This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about sensor technologies, robotics, and real-world system integration.
Fully Remote & Flexible Schedule:
This internship is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You can choose to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) or part-time (a minimum of 8-10 hours per week) based on your availability.
On-site Internship (Optional):
If interested, we can offer onsite internships at two locations: Austin, Texas, and Lemnos, Greece.
